“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.” -Henry David Thoreau
It really is the little things. They add up to the big things. Every experience that I’ve had, good and bad, has shaped who I am today. Woman. Mother. Wife. Friend. I’m a lover of books, a daydreamer, a little bit crafty, a lot opinionated. I have a wicked sweet tooth, a foul mouth, a quick temper, and I’m slow to forgive (I’m working on this one!). I am also fiercely loyal, slightly nerdy, and my brain never shuts off. never. It’s both exhausting and awesome. Oh and I’m loud. And animated. And opinionated (did I mention that already?!) But back to the point – it’s the little things, the day-to-day, the people you interact with, even the weather. And you keep on keeping on and as cliche as it sounds, all the regular old stuff truly does become the big things and you realize you are so damn lucky, to have this life. So here it is, just a regular ol’ momma, wife, and friend highlighting the good, commiserating in the bad, and sharing with the world my “common hours”. 🙂
